Tributus: the story of a rising brand

Learn about Tributus' history: how the company grew with a dedicated team, won strategic clients, and expanded its international presence in the awards industry.

In an industry where differentiation is key, Tributus' history is made up of milestones that reflect the company's vision, values, and ability to adapt. From its creation in July 2022 to the consolidation of a solid base of customers, partners, and suppliers, and its entry into the foreign market, Tributus' trajectory is made up of small but well-sustained achievements. In this article, we will recall some of the moments that have leveraged the company's growth, making it a benchmark.

Acquiring new customers

Although the company started out producing awards for sporting events, particularly trail running, customers from other sectors and regions soon followed, thanks to the recognition of Tributus' quality. Our portfolio diversified to include items for city councils, schools, and public entities, companies and brands, and international sports organizations. For us, each new customer is, and always has been, an opportunity to do better, to think outside the box and innovate, and to grow at all levels.

The expansion of the team

Tributus started with a small core group that gathered around Paulo Ferreira and remains to this day. The CEO immediately opted for a collaborative and versatile work structure and for attracting talent from different areas, valuing high technical competence, alignment with the project's values, a spirit of mutual support, dedication, and a desire to grow together.
The year 2023 marks the beginning of the team's growth, first in sales force and social media management, in response to the increase in orders for medals and trophies. In the first quarter of 2024, the design core is reinforced and, during the second half of the year, it will be the commercial area's turn. The need to respond to growing demand from customers in the foreign market, particularly in the Iberian Peninsula, led to the creation of the marketing and communications department. In the early months of 2025, the design team became a department. With this structure in place, Tributus is now an agile and highly efficient company that continues to deliver quality, creativity, and personalized service.

Expansion into the European market

As already mentioned, demand for Tributus products was not limited to domestic customers, and the brand gradually gained market share in international markets: first in the Iberian market, followed by France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, and Italy. The expansion into the European and international markets is the result of Paulo Ferreira's strategic vision and knowledge of the sector, and the team's ability to adapt to the specific needs of each market.

Strategic partnerships

Another milestone in Tributus' history was its strategic partnerships, such as with the magazine/platform ‘Correr por Prazer’ . Correr por Prazer is a benchmark in the world of sports, and this partnership helped to build our brand's presence among a specialized and demanding target audience. Another example was with The World Battle, the largest international breakdancing event held in Portugal, in a partnership that brought Tributus closer to creative, sporting, and cultural communities globally.

The brand ambassadors

Finally, another memorable moment was having renowned high-performance athlete Bruno Coelho as the first ambassador for the Tributus brand. The relationship with the athlete dates back to when he and Paulo Ferreira were running partners, and today it is based on the values that both Bruno Coelho and the brand represent—consistency, dedication, and overcoming challenges.

Each of these steps reflects our company's culture, which seeks to constantly evolve and focuses, above all, on quality, sustainability, and the commitment we have made to everyone who works with and trusts Tributus.

Today, Tributus is a brand with identity, vision, and commitment. If you would like to know more about Tributus, who we are, and what we do, come and talk to us—at our showroom, by phone at +351 933 957 026, or email, social media, or WhatsApp. We look forward to hearing from you!
