CNA Madeira, December 1st, 2nd and 3rd, 2023

It's the Absolute National Orienteering Championship and will take place from December 1st to 3rd on Madeira Island. It is organized by the Orienteering Association of the Autonomous Region of Madeira, Clube Aventura da Madeira, Clube de Montanha do Funchal, Retoiça - Associação Cultural, Desportiva e Recreativa, and with the support of the Portuguese Orienteering Federation.

Cascais Christmas Race, December 1st, 2023

Organized by HMS in partnership with Cascais City Council, the Christmas Run is a charity event that aims to promote adapted sport and inclusion. With a running race and a walking race, this is the 3rd edition of the event.

São Silvestre de Gondomar, December 2, 2023

A São Silvestre de Gondomar is back for its 7th edition, in an event that includes a race for children, São Silvestre Kids. Organized by Eventsport in partnership with Gondomar City Council.

Maxi Race Madeira, December 2nd and 3rd 2023

In its 5th edition, the Maxi Race Madeira is already an internationally renowned trail running event and is part of the Maxi Trail Series by Salomon world circuit that passes through regions as diverse as France, Italy, South Africa, China and Ecuador. The four races of this prestigious event will take place in the parishes of São Vicente, Ponta Delgada and Boaventura, in the municipality of São Vicente, and athletes will be able to enjoy unique environments, such as the Laurissilva forest.

Madrona Trail, in Spain, on December 3rd, 2023

This is the 5th edition of an event that will take place through the Valle de Alcudia y Sierra Madrona Natural Park, in the Spanish province of Castile la Mancha. The Madrona Trail has three races: long trail, short trail and walking.

Events on December 7, 8 and 10, 2023

From north to south, several events will take place on the holiday:
- the NFIT Gala, in Góis;
- the Tour of Paranhos, organized by Eventsport;
- the São Silvestre Vitor Batista, in Lourinhã;
- the Viva o Atletismo Campaign, organized by the Beja Athletics Association;
- the 3rd São Silvestre Race in Grândola;
- the Portimão Karate School Gala;
- the 10th Andorinhas Trailin Póvoa do Lanhoso

Events on December 15, 16 and 17, 2023

- the 10th Christmas Trail, in Amarante;
- o Picos do Açor Challengein Serra do Açor, Arganil;
- the Carmanal Trail, in Alenquer;
- the HBP Gala
- the 2nd Azen Cool Padel Tournament, in Fontanelas, Sintra;
- Trail d'Santiago, the last stage of the Cape Verde Trail Series

As you can see, we're looking forward to a December full of outdoor activities that promote health and well-being - and at Christmas time and with all the sweet temptations, there's nothing better than taking care of your body!
