Make-up is the final stage in the development of the design of a medal, trophy or other type of award, and is essential in the process of creating these pieces. Why is this?
Because it is the transition from an idea to a 2D or 3D representation of what the final piece will be. It is used to try out and test the design choices made before production begins, namely: the materials, format and graphics of the elements to be placed on the pieces, such as the title of the event (competition, gala, contest, etc.), the type of classification or achievement (e.g. 1st place, franchised agency with the most sales, student of the year, etc.), the date, pictograms and logos, among others.
