Cross Almada Naturista, what is it?

This is a sporting event that takes place every year at Praia da Adiça beach, near Fonte da Telha, in the municipality of Almada, and aims to promote physical activity and contact with nature. As the name suggests, this event has a unique feature that sets it apart from other sporting events: it is a naturist event, meaning that participants are challenged to run without clothes.
The Almada Naturist Cross has been held since 2019 and is organized by the Alma Naturista Association and ADN, with the support of the Almada City Council, the Charneca and Sobreda Parish Council, and the Laranjeiro-Feijó Parish Council.

The Cross Almada Naturista races

The event consists of two races: an 8-kilometer run, reserved for participants over the age of 18, and a 3-kilometer walk, in which all age groups can participate. The route for both races is the same—the beachfront, starting and finishing at the same point.
Registration for these events can be individual or family-based, as this event also promotes family sports activities.
