Promising to exceed the expectations of previous editions and attract more athletes and participants, the Leixões Port Race and the Dragon Race present another edition dedicated to sports and well-being.

The 9th Leixões Port Race

The Leixões Port Race has been held since 2015 and aims to encourage sports and physical activity, highlighting their importance in maintaining the health and physical and mental well-being of everyone, regardless of age, gender, or condition. The event consists of two non-competitive races: a 10-kilometer run and a 5-kilometer walk.
The Porto de Leixões Race is organized by APDL – Administração dos Portos do Douro, Leixões e Viana do Castelo (Port Authority of the Douro, Leixões, and Viana do Castelo), Eventsport, and the APDL Culture and Sports Center, with the support of the Matosinhos City Council and Matosinhos Sport.

The 5th Dragon Race 2024

This is one of the most eagerly awaited events for members and fans of Futebol Clube do Porto and sports lovers in general. The Corrida do Dragão (Dragon Run) consists of two races: a 10-kilometer race and a 5-kilometer race, both of which start and finish at the iconic Estádio do Dragão stadium and pass through various areas of the city of Porto.
Organized by Futebol Clube do Porto, the Corrida do Dragão is not just a sporting event, it is a celebration of the passion for FCP and for the city.
