CIMENTADOS TRAIL 2023, GÓIS TRAIL, AND OTHER EVENTS

The Góis Trail, the 2nd Cimentados Cimpor Trail, the 18th Beselga Mountain Bike Marathon, and the São Torcato Trail are just a few of the sporting events taking place in November. Check out the race schedule and join in!

This year, Halloween brought more than just trick-or-treating—it brought a calendar of events that will fill the month of November and take place from coast to coast. Stay up to date on what’s happening, sign up, participate, and help spread the word.

Góis Trail, November 1, 2023

This is another edition of the Góis Trail, a trail running event taking place in the district of Coimbra, in the areas of Góis, Rabadão, and Vale do Ceira, featuring two races: the competitive trail race, a 15-kilometer course with approximately 700 meters of elevation gain; and the 9-kilometer hike. Organized by AERGóis Trail Running Association, this event is supported by the Góis Municipal Council and the Góis Parish Council.

2nd Cimpor Trail Run, November 5, 2023

This is the 2nd edition of this trail running event to be held in Loulé, in the district of Faro. The mountainous landscapes of the Algarve will serve as the backdrop for this event, which consists of two competitive races—a short trail and a long trail—and a hike or mini trail.
Organized by Cimpor and the Faz K Foge sports group, with the support of the Loulé City Council and ATR – Algarve Trail Running, the Cimentados Cimpor Trail Loulé was created to raise awareness and promote sports participation and to build a bridge between the community and the cement company, as well as its facilities.

1st Manhente Adventure Trail, November 5, 2023

This is a trail running event that will take participants along the trails and paths of the municipality of Barcelos, and consists of five races: the long trail, approximately 25 kilometers long with 1,000 meters of elevation gain; the short trail, approximately 15 kilometers long with 700 meters of elevation gain; the Trail Kids and the walk, both approximately 7 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 300 meters. These last two events are non-competitive.
The 1st Trail Manhente Adventure is organized by the Manhente Sports and Cultural Association (ADC) in collaboration with BestMove and local authorities.

The Tavira Rally, November 4–5, 2023

Motorsports will take center stage in Tavira, Algarve, with this event featuring the Promo Rally Championship, the Start Sul Rally Championship, and the 6th Kombo Challenge. The Tavira Rally is organized by the Clube Automóvel do Sul with the support of the Tavira City Council and the AP Maria Nova Lounge Hotel.

Endovélico Trails, November 12, 2023

Trilhos do Endovélico is a trail running race set against the backdrop of the Alandroal municipality. As part of the Trail Circuit—the 2nd edition of the Évora Regional Championship—Trilhos do Endovélico is organized by the Alandroal United Association with the support of the Alandroal Municipal Council and the Terena Parish Council, and in collaboration with the organizers of trail races in the district of Évora.

18th Trilhos do Ceireiro Mountain Bike Marathon, November 12, 2023

This is one of the most long-standing mountain biking competitions in our country, attracting both local and international participants. This year, the event features a 10-kilometer mountain bike ride, a hike, and, of course, competitive courses: one 30 kilometers long, another 45 kilometers, and a third 55 kilometers. The routes were designed to offer a wider variety of challenges and, thus, appeal to everyone. The 18th Trilhos do Ceireiro Mountain Bike Marathon takes place in Beselga, in the municipality of Penedono, Viseu district, and is organized by the Beselguense Humanitarian, Cultural, and Recreational Association in partnership with the Penedono City Council.

Sabrosa Trail through Terras de Magalhães, on November 13, 2023

The Sabrosa Trail por Terras de Magalhães is a trail running event that invites participants to venture along the paths and trails of Sabrosa, in the district of Vila Real, Trás-os-Montes. Organized by the Sabrosa City Council and Portugal NTN, the event features a 30-kilometer long-distance trail race, a 17-kilometer short-distance trail race, and an 11-kilometer hike.

Vila de São Torcato Trail, November 26, 2023

The Trail Vila de São Torcato is now in its 4th edition, and this year it kicks off the Regional Trail Championship, even though it is a charity sporting event. It is divided into four races, all starting at the Basilica of São Torcato: a 27-kilometer long trail, a 17-kilometer short trail, an 11-kilometer mini trail, and a 10-kilometer walk. In addition to promoting sports, health, and well-being, the event also aims to promote environmental sustainability, which is why sustainable materials were chosen (such as for the prizes). The Trail Vila de São Torcato is organized by the São Torcato Parish Council, in the municipality of Guimarães.

To honor athletes and participants, the organizers of all these sporting events sought medals and trophies that would convey the spirit and values of each event, and they chose Tributus to find the most suitable solution.
