Gondomar is preparing to host another edition of the Meia Maratona D’Ouro Run Gondomar, an event that has become a benchmark for involving athletes and the general public, and for promoting this region. It will take place on June 8, 2025, and promises plenty of excitement and entertainment with races and activities for everyone.

The 10th edition features events for all levels

The Meia Maratona D’Ouro Run Gondomar is an athletics competition consisting of two competitive events: the half marathon and the mini marathon, aimed at federated and non-federated athletes of different levels and categories. There is also a 5 km walk, open to everyone.
The route of the races runs along the Entre-os-Rios coastal road, allowing participants to enjoy the scenery of the Rio D'Ouro. The event is organized by the Convidacorrer Association in technical partnership with Eventsport and with the support of the Gondomar City Council and the Generali Tranquilidade group.

Activities parallel to the event

The D'Ouro Run Gondomar Half Marathon is not just a series of running events, but above all an event that combines the practice of sport with the promotion of local identity. To this end, a series of parallel activities have been planned, such as the Filigree Route, the environmental initiative '1 Registration = 1 Tree' to care for and protect the D'Ouro Run Forest, and the social initiative 'The Human Safety Net Portugal', aimed at supporting families with children aged 0 to 6 in vulnerable situations.

These three events have in common the fact that they are important events in the national sporting calendar, that they encourage the link between physical activity and local culture, and that they have trophies produced by Tributus.
