Badajoz is preparing to host one of the highlights of the Extremadura XCO Open, the Tres Arroyos XCO, on February 23. As in last year's edition, there is expected to be plenty of excitement and adrenaline with the arrival of the best Olympic cross-country (XCO) cyclists.

The Tres Arroyos XCO race

Tres Arroyos XCO is a mountain biking event, more specifically, Olympic cross country, which is part of the Open Extremadura XCO, a series of competitions on the Spanish calendar that count towards regional and national rankings. The Tres Arroyos XCO is characterized by being a race that allows cyclists to train their speed and agility, and by being a meeting place for the national and international cycling community.

About the 2025 edition

This year, Tres Arroyos XCO will take place in the traditional closed circuit format, with several laps. The course features fast and technical trails, with steep climbs and descents, and natural obstacles, requiring skill, endurance, and strategy from the cyclists. It will be an intense challenge for the competing athletes and a thrilling spectacle for the audience.

Organized by Extremeñamente and with the support of the Extremadura Cycling Federation and the Spanish Cycling Federation, Tres Arroyos XCO is yet another sporting events whose trophies were produced by Tributus.
