The Trailrun van de Voervallei and the Copa Galicia de Baloncesto represent two of the many sports that promote sportsmanship, well-being, and contact with nature, challenging athletes,

The Trailrun van de Voervallei, in Belgium

The Trailrun van de Voervallei is a trail running event for participants of various levels, experience, and ages, held every year in Vossem, in the municipality of Tervuren, Belgium. As in previous editions, the Trailrun van de Voervallei comprises five races:
• the 42 km ultramarathon, for which GPX navigation is required after the first 9 km;
• the 24 km race;
• the 12 km race;
• the 6 km race;
• and the kids run, for children.
For this 2025 edition, the event features two new modalities: the 6 and 12 km walks. The route for these events will follow trails through farmland, woods, and forests in Vossem, Tervuren, and other locations in the Flemish Brabant region, such as Leefdaal, Korbeek-Dijle, Oud-Heverlee, St-Agatha-Rode, Huldenberg, and Neerijse.
Organized by Gladiator Events, this year's Trailrun van de Voervallei will take place on August 31 and will also feature an entertainment area with live music, a boot sale, street food, and activities for the whole family.

The Galicia Basketball Cup

September marks the start of the 2025/25 season of the Copa Galicia de Baloncesto, the prestigious regional basketball competition that brings together Galicia's most representative clubs. With no venue yet chosen by the organizers, several municipalities are vying to host the Cup, as has been the case in previous seasons. This year, the city of La Coruña is considered the big favorite.

The Galicia Basketball Cup has been organized by the Galician Basketball Federation (FEGABA) since 1986. It was originally founded by three clubs that were part of the First Division of the National Basketball Championship at the time: OAR Ferrol, Clube Ourense Baloncesto, CAB Obradoiro, and CB Breogán.
