WHAT GRAPHIC MATERIALS SHOULD BE SENT TO MAKE TRIBUTUS MEDALS?
Find out what graphic materials you need to send to have your event medals customized. Ensure the best quality and precision in the details, facilitating the production process.
The creation of personalized medals is a process that requires precision and attention to detail. To ensure that your medals are manufactured with the desired quality and design, it is essential to send the correct graphic materials. In this article, we will tell you what key graphic materials you need to provide to ensure that the medals for your event are perfect.
1- The logo in high resolution and in an editable file
A clear and detailed logo is essential for customizing medals. Be sure to send your brand/event/company logo(s) in high resolution to avoid losing quality in the final product. The logo must be saved in editable file formats and have a minimum resolution of 300 DPI. If you have any questions about formats, please do not hesitate to contact the Tributus design team.
2- Vector drawings
Vector drawings or images are essential to ensure that no quality is lost when adjustments need to be made to design elements or when resizing is required. The formats recommended by our design team are AI, EPS, and editable PDF.
3- Color specifications
To ensure that the colors of your event medals match your expectations exactly, you should provide us with detailed color specifications. The Tributus design team recommends using universally recognized color systems to avoid discrepancies, such as Pantone, CMYK, and RGB.
4- 3D models and mockups
The mock-up is a sketch of a medal or trophy (or other type of award) that shows, in detail, all aspects of the piece to be manufactured: dimensions, type of material, colors, images, and text to be used (e.g., logos, event title), etc. This is why the mock-up is essential for understanding the design and getting an idea of what the piece will look like.
Therefore, it is essential to send us the mock-up or a 3D model. If you are not familiar with creating mock-ups, talk to our design team, which specializes in creating specific mock-ups for medals, trophies, and other types of awards.
5- Texts and fonts
Any text on the medal or trophy, even if it is only the title of the event or the classification (1st, 2nd, 3rd, finalist, etc.), must also be sent in editable format, together with the font file, in order to avoid the use of another font that could alter the layout/design settings.
Texts must be sent in DOCX or TXT format, and fonts must be TTF or OTF files. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our specialized team.
6- Detailed project instructions
In addition to the graphic materials, you must send us detailed instructions about the design of the medal or trophy (specifying the position of each element, size and proportions, etc.) and about the project itself, such as the number of medals or trophies, delivery deadlines, date and location of the event, address for delivery of the awards, etc.
