On July 8 and 9, Lisbon will host two major events in the cosmetics and beauty industry, organized by the international association WULOP: the national final of the World Permanent Makeup Championship and the International Conference.

WULOP

WULOP – World Universal League of Permanent Makeup is an international association in the beauty and cosmetics industry that organizes global events, the most famous of which is the world championship, and is represented in 64 countries, including Portugal.
Alongside that competition, the WULOP also organizes conferences and congresses where industry professionals can share experiences and know-how with the most renowned masters and makeup artists in the field.

The WULOP Championship and the Final in Portugal

Renowned for its excellence, the world championship aims to select the best professionals in the field and raise standards of quality and technical innovation. The competition is structured around national finals or world semifinals, in which the winners from each participating country are determined and will compete for the world title in the final. This year, the championship final will be held in Turkey from October 22 to 27, 2024.
Since Portugal has been part of WULOP for two years now, one of the semifinals to select the national champion—the best professional in Portugal—will be held here.

The WULOP International Conference 2024

Alongside the World Championship semifinals, the International Permanent Makeup Conference (PUM) will also take place, an event that brings together professionals from around the world for lectures and demonstrations of the latest and most innovative techniques.

The International Conference and the semifinals of the WULOP World Championship are two unique events in Portugal that showcase the very best of the global cosmetics and beauty industry, recognizing value and celebrating merit, quality, and innovation.

To honor the winners of the Portuguese semifinals and celebrate the talent and success of the industry’s professionals, WULOP will present trophies at a glamorous gala. For the second consecutive year, WULOP has entrusted Tributus with the creation of these personalized and exclusive awards.
