In the Netherlands, the summer of 2025 brings with it a packed calendar of cycling events that will challenge even the most enthusiastic cyclists. The program was organized by NL Tour Rides, a company known for putting together well-structured cycling events that combine natural beauty, sports, and adrenaline. Highlights of the program include the Pieter Ride, the Summer Ride, and the Gravelty Veluwe.

To Pieter Ride, between August and September 2025

This is yet another edition of this endurance cycling tour along the iconic Pieterpad, one of the most popular trail routes in the Netherlands and also the longest—about 570 kilometers, crossing the country from north to south. The Pieter Ride consists of four stages, from Pieterburen in the north, vi
, to Sint-Pietersberg, near Maastricht, in the south. This year, the event will take place four times: August 21–24, September 4–7, September 18–21, and September 25–28.

Summer Ride 2025

On August 23, it’s time for the Summer Ride, a ride through the Nijmegen region that lets cyclists enjoy the Netherlands’ most typical natural scenery. The route begins and ends in Mookerplas, on a course full of climbs, twists, and turns, winding through forests, heaths, and hills.

Gravelty Veluwe 2025

As for Gravelty Veluwe runs through the Veluwe region, crossing the largest nature reserve in the Netherlands. The start and finish are at the Terlet glider airfield, north of Arnhem. This gravel cycling race offers two options for riders to choose from: a 70-kilometer route and a 90-kilometer route, both featuring off-road trails through forests and heathlands.
These are three of the countless road and gravel cycling events that NL Tour Rides has organized for this year: one-day and multi-day road and gravel tours in the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Italy, and across Europe.
