Like trophies, wooden medals are an option that reflects the commitment of a brand, company, or institution to the environment and the planet, to sustainability and the circular economy. Wooden medals for the Portugal Padel Tour

The first example is the wooden medals from the Portugal Padel Tour, a national padel tournament that took place in several districts throughout 2024.
We highlight these pieces because they represent one of the innovations we introduced to the market in early 2024: the use of dark walnut wood.
Associated with elegance, dark walnut wood is a noble material that has been used in furniture and decorative pieces to enhance environments. Its use in award pieces, such as medals and trophies, was an innovation launched by Tributus.
The walnut wood we use comes from the leftovers of the furniture industry in our region, Paços Ferreira, the Portuguese furniture capital. The use of this sustainable material offers advantages that meet the needs of the most demanding customers:
• it conveys care and elegance, elevating the event and/or brand to another level;
• although it may seem expensive, the piece is cheaper than other noble materials, thus reducing costs;
• it reduces environmental impact and promotes sustainability.

Wooden medals for ALUT 2024

These medals are one of the most popular models among our social media followers and represent how creativity can produce simple yet striking pieces.
These medals are made of 10 mm wood with printing, and their shapes allow them to be fitted just like puzzle pieces – and in this way we were able to overcome the challenge of producing a medal that symbolized team unity.
Alongside these pieces, Tributus also produced the trophies for the 2024 edition of the international trail running event ALUT – Algarviana Ultra Trail, organized by the Algarve Trail Running Association in partnership with Almargem – Association for the Defense of the Cultural and Environmental Heritage of the Algarve.
