What is Iron Rider?
The Iron Rider – Test the Quest is a mountain biking sporting event that combines adventure, adrenaline, and endurance, and has been held in Salvador do Monte, in the municipality of Amarante, since 2022. Iron Rider's quality and demanding standards have made this event a benchmark in the national and international cycling scene.
What to expect from the 4th edition of Iron Rider?
As in previous years, participants in the 2025 edition will face a demanding five-kilometer course along which they will encounter technical trails and a cumulative elevation gain of 300 meters per lap, all while enjoying the breathtaking landscapes of the Amarante region. Both amateur and professional athletes can participate in this race, registering individually or in pairs, and in the categories appropriate to their experience. The event will end with the usual awards ceremony, with prizes awarded according to the classification obtained by the cyclists, either individually or by teams.
Co-organized by Dream Sports, Inquieta, and Nexplore, Iron Rider – Test the Quest is another event that will feature sustainable and eco-friendly medals produced by Tributus. In this case, the choice was made to use finisher medals made of wood, a renewable and biodegradable material, with lanyard ribbons, a modern and environmentally responsible alternative.
