The prestigious Figueira Champions Classic cycling race is back, bringing with it the world's best cyclists and teams, such as champions João Almeida and Illan Van Wilder. From February 14 to 16, the municipality of Figueira da Foz will be the setting for one of the most important international road cycling competitions held in Portugal.

What is the Figueira Champions Classic?

Created in 2023, the Figueira Champions Classic is a cycling event held in the municipality of Figueira da Foz that includes two races, one for all cyclists and the other for professional cyclists and their teams.
Due to the quality of its organization and the challenge posed by its route, the Figueira Champions Classic race was quickly noticed by the UCI – Union Cycliste Internationale and included in the UCI ProSeries circuit.
Currently, the Figueira Champions Classic is one of the most prestigious competitions held in our country.

The 2025 edition of the Figueira Champions Classic

This year, the race features big names in international cycling, such as Portugal's João Almeida and his UAE Team Emirates XRG, France's Julian Alaphilippe and his Tudor Pro Cycling Team, and Belgium's Ilan Van Wilder and his Soudal Quick-Step team, among others. The races will take place along a 191-kilometer route set against a backdrop of rivers, sea, and mountains.

For the second consecutive year, the organizers of this major sporting and cycling event entrusted Tributus to produce the awards that will be presented at the closing ceremony.
