On March 8, trail running enthusiasts will have the opportunity to run along challenging forest trails while enjoying the natural landscape of Northern Holland—it's the Early Spring Trail Run. Come and discover this sporting event that is winning over fans.

The Early Spring Trail Run 2025

The Early Spring Trail Run is a non-competitive trail running event consisting of three races:
• the 10-kilometer race, on a winding trail through the Spanderswoud forest area;
• the 15-kilometer race, which follows the same route as the 10-kilometer race;
• the 25-kilometer race, which will take athletes through Spanderswoud, Bussumer, and Westerheide, on a mix of forest and heathland trails.
This sporting event will take place in the 's-Graveland area, a village belonging to the municipality of Wijdemeren, in the province of North Holland, Netherlands. This is a green region of rural areas, heaths, and typical woods, which together provide a peaceful atmosphere conducive to outdoor activities and sports such as running.

The concept of the Early Spring Trail Run

The Early Spring Trail Run is organized by Epic Trails, a Dutch association driven by a passion for sport and nature, whose mission is to create trail running routes that allow participants to enjoy the beauty of natural landscapes, providing a unique and positive experience.
