Confluência Trail 2025 e Trail das Andorinhas 2025
O cenário do rio Tejo e as paisagens verdejantes do Minho são os palcos do III Confluência Trail, em Constância, e do IX Trail das Andorinhas, na Póvoa do Lanhoso, respetivamente.Growing in popularity and with more participants than ever, trail running has established itself as a sport that mobilizes local communities to engage in physical activity and raise environmental awareness, with the support of local governments, businesses, and institutions in the regions where the events take place. This is the case with the Confluência Trail, held in the municipality of Constância, in Ribatejo, and the Trail das Andorinhas, in Póvoa do Lanhoso, in the municipality of Braga, in northern Portugal.
The 3rd Confluência Trail
On November 23, 2025, another edition of the Confluência Trail, an event that has been establishing itself on the trail running calendar of central Portugal. The setting for this competition is one of the municipality’s most iconic landmarks—the confluence of the Zêzere and Tagus rivers. The course for the three events follows trails that traverse forested and riverside areas, as well as historic heritage sites. The event is open to federated athletes, amateur runners, and the general public who wish to participate, with options including the long trail, the short trail, and a walk.
The Confluência Trail has been organized by the Constância City Council and is presented as a celebration of sports and the municipality’s cultural identity.The Swallows Trail 2025
On November 30, it’s time for the Trail das Andorinhas, which returns to Povoa do Lanhoso for its 9th edition. Starting and finishing in the parish of Taíde, the event will take athletes through dense forest areas, along waterways, and over mountain trails on a demanding course where nature is undoubtedly the true star. The event features four races, catering to different levels of experience: the 26 km long trail, the 15 km short trail, the 5 km walk, and the kids’ trail.
Organized for the past 9 years by the GOMA Sports Group and with the support of the Póvoa do Lanhoso City Council, the Trail das Andorinhas attracts more national and international participants with each edition, a clear sign that investing in the promotion of natural and cultural heritage is worthwhile.The medals and trophies for these two events were produced by Tributus. For the Confluência Trail, wood was chosen for the medals, which came with lanyards, while cork and wood were selected for the trophies. For the Trail das Andorinhas, printed wood was chosen for both the medals and the trophies.
