On April 26 and 27, thousands of athletes from Portugal and abroad will take to the trails through the natural landscapes of Trás-os-Montes and face the challenges of the Alvão Natural Park - this is the unique event that is the Fisgas de Ermelo Trail.

The scenery of the Fisgas de Ermelo Trail

Located in the municipality of Mondim de Bastos, the Alvão Natural Park has been the setting for the eight editions of this event: a region of mountainous landscapes with the famous Fisgas de Ermelo waterfalls, one of the largest in Europe.

The 8th edition - competitions and Fisgas Kids

As in previous editions of the Fisgas de Ermelo Trailin 2025 there will also be races of various distances to match the different levels of preparation and experience of the participants. The event will therefore include a 10 km walk open to all levels and two competitive races, namely the long trail of 33 km and a positive gradient of 1750m and the short trail of 23 km and a positive gradient of 1200m. Both events count towards the UTMB Index, the ITRA and the National Trail Circuits.
In addition to these races, the event has a program of activities for youngsters - the Fisgas Kids. This is a series of races aimed at participants aged between 6 and 15, which will take place on April 26.

Tributus and the Fisgas de Ermelo Trail

In 2025, the Mondim Athletics Association has once again entrusted Tributus with the development of the trophies and medals (Kids and Walk) for the Fisgas de Ermelo Trail. But our company's relationship with this important event in the sporting calendar doesn't stop there: we are one of the sponsors of Fisgas Kids and will be present with an exhibition stand.
