2 models of cork awards: medals and trophies
Cork medals and trophies: a natural, recyclable, and sustainable material that will take your event to the next level and help reduce costs. Take a look at these two award models.Cork is natural, renewable, recyclable, and sustainable. Currently, it is a material that is increasingly valued for its unique characteristics, being used in various industries and in very innovative ways. Because it is very versatile, cork adapts to different aesthetics, from natural and ecological to the most innovative and sophisticated.
It is one of the materials in our range used in the manufacture of medals, trophies, and other types of awards. In addition to all its attributes, for Tributus there is also an advantage in choosing cork: Portugal is one of the world's largest producers.
Our extensive portfolio includes several projects developed in cork, such as the Grândola Duathlon trophy and The World Battle awards, the famous world breakdancing competition.The Grândola Duathlon 2024 trophy
For the 28th edition of the Grândola Duathlon, Tributus was challenged to produce an award that conveyed the values of the event (sports and contact with nature, health, and well-being) and the symbols of the municipality (democracy and the fight for rights, the carnation). The solution was a trophy that appears simple but is imperceptibly composed of two pieces, made of laser-engraved cork and UV-printed wood.
The Grândola Duathlon is co-organized by the Grândola City Council and the Amiciclo Club, with the support of the Portuguese Triathlon Federation, the World Triathlon and Europe Triathlon.The World Battle 2023 and 2024 awards
The model developed for The World Battle clearly demonstrates how cork adapts to different contexts and helps reinforce a youthful, fun, and trendy concept for events such as this international breakdancing competition.
For both the 2023 and 2024 competitions of The World Battlecompetitions, Tributus produced two trophy models:
• a 20 mm thick cork trophy, 210 mm high and 150 mm wide; laser engraving was used to personalize this piece with a logo and text;
• a trophy composed of three elements: a 10 mm black wooden base; the largest element in 3 mm gray recycled acrylic, 230 mm high and 171 mm wide, with UV printing to personalize the piece with a logo and text; and a smaller element on the front, cut out with the silhouette of a b-boy or b-girl, in 3 mm black acrylic.From our comprehensive and extensive portfolio includes models for any type of event or occasion: fun and modern, classic and elegant, contemporary and sophisticated, innovative and impressive.
