The 1st Rainha Dona Leonor Half Marathon, in Caldas da Rainha
This is the first edition of the Rainha Dona Leonor Half Marathon and will take place on June 14 and 15, 2025, in Caldas da Rainha. Alongside this event, there will also be a 10 km race, a 5 km walk, and a Children's Race, with distances between 300 and 1000 meters, depending on age. The route of the races will follow the streets and surroundings of this UNESCO Creative City of Crafts and Arts. Designed to be a sporting event open to all, the Rainha Dona Leonor Half Marathon is promoted by the Caldas da Rainha City Council and is technically organized by HMS Sports and has Olympic triathlete João Pereira as its patron.
The Viana Port Race
This is yet another edition of the event that has been enlivening Viana do Castelo for the past three years – the Viana Port Race, which will take place on June 14 in the port area of this city in Minho. The event includes two races: a 10 km race for federated and non-federated athletes over the age of 18; and a 5 km walk open to everyone.
Held as part of Viana do Castelo Port Day, the program includes entertainment activities for the entire population with the aim of promoting closeness with the local community.
The Porto de Viana Race is organized by APDL – Administração dos Portos do Douro, Leixões e Viana do Castelo (Port Authority of the Douro, Leixões, and Viana do Castelo), the APDL Culture and Sports Center, and Eventsport (technical direction), and is sponsored by Manuela Machado, world marathon champion.The Maratón Alpino Madrileño and the Cross Alpino del Telégrafo in Spain
This is the 28th edition of the Maratón Alpino Madrileño, considered the oldest mountain race held in mainland Spain. The event will take place on June 14 and 15, 2025, in Cercedilla, in the heart of the Guadarrama Mountains, in the Madrid region.
It includes two trail running events: the main event, a 44 km marathon with a cumulative elevation gain of 5,800 m; and the Cross Alpino del Telégrafo (CAT), a short trail of about 19 km with a cumulative elevation gain of 1,900 m. Held since 1997, the Madrid Alpine Marathon (MAM) is organized by ADM – Agrupación Deportiva Marathon.
